POP Magazine 1969 – Download individual issues as PDF (all issues)

Incl. VAT · Digital download – no shipping

We offer you all POP issues individually for download. Get the issues individually - just like when you were an active reader. The only difference from back then: you don't have to go to the magazine dealer or kiosk. You can immerse yourself in the old issues and the memories associated with them from the comfort of your own home. Whether from a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone. Another advantage: in contrast to the horrendous prices that are now being charged for old magazines, you can get the digital issues from us for little money but in excellent quality. We have painstakingly scanned the issues and digitally reassembled and revised them. Just the thing if you want to spontaneously "flick through" an old POP, you are looking for a specific issue or article or you want to show your children what your youth was like. All issues from 1969 are available here. Of course, we also have issues from other years.

Please consider the historical context when reading the issues! Some formulations, views, texts, and reports may be outdated from today's perspective, but we have decided not to comment on or alter the issues retrospectively, but to leave them in their original form, as the issues represent important contemporary historical documents for us. As a cross-generational companion for young people, POP offers an interesting insight into cultural development. This is precisely why it is important to pay attention to the historical and social context when reading.

A single issue refers to a single issue of POP magazine from a specific year. Unlike the complete years, which include all issues from a specific year, single issues allow you to specifically select an issue that interests you – be it due to a special topic, interviews with your favorite stars, or special events. Each single issue is available as a digital PDF file and offers you the opportunity to delve into history and awaken nostalgic memories of your youth. Unlike the normal single issues, this version contains all revised posters of the respective issues as additional JPEG files.

Each PDF is high-quality digitized and corresponds to the original format, so you can experience POP exactly as it appeared back then.

After purchasing your download product, you will automatically receive the download link by email immediately after payment is received. The content of the issues we provide in our archive reflects the zeitgeist of the respective years. We would like to point out that many of the topics, language, and representations in the issues may not correspond to current social norms and standards from today's perspective. It is important to understand that the journalistic content in the decades of its publication reflected the youth culture of the time and adapted to the social, political, and cultural realities of the time. What was considered humorous, exciting, or acceptable back then might be viewed as inappropriate or outdated today. Our goal is to preserve the cultural heritage and document the historical value of these issues without making a current moral or social judgment. We invite all readers to consider the issues in the context of the current social norms and values of the time and thus engage with an important part of German pop culture history .
