Collection: POP

POP was already there one year before the hippies celebrated the 'Summer of Love' in San Francisco and two years before the worldwide 1968 protest movement. To be precise, it was already there three years ago. On November 15, 1965, Zurich-born Jürg Marquard presented the 'zero issue' of his magazine. The magazine was very well received by readers and from 1972 POP was even available at kiosks every two weeks. POP also spread beyond the Swiss Alps. In 1980, POP merged with the music magazines Popfoto , Freizeit-Magazin and Rocky and, as Pop Rocky, became the second largest pop and youth magazine in Germany - behind BRAVO . All issues are in the usual "bravo archive" quality (300 DPI). The magazines are all complete and digitally revised as far as possible to correct any image errors.
