For many decades, BRAVO played a pioneering role in sex education and youth development in Germany. As one of the first and most well-known youth magazines, it regularly focused on topics such as body awareness, healthy sexuality, relationships, and personal development. Especially from the 1960s to the 1990s, the magazine was a central medium that provided young people with orientation and education on intimate topics during a time of social upheaval.

This question preoccupied the political, social and legal guardians of decency, customs and morality in 1972 when BRAVO introduced the photo love story as 'education to look at'. In several episodes, BRAVO told a photographed love story of teenagers and thereby did in words and pictures what most parents of that generation had simply failed to do - whether out of shame, didactic incompetence or trust that nature would find its way. BRAVO became the best friend, the buddy who had all the answers that the growing teenager was particularly concerned with before going to sleep. DPI („dots per inch“) beschreibt die Auflösung eines Bildes. Die meisten Bilder im Internet haben 72–100 DPI. Wir scannen jede Seite mit 300 DPI – das ist sehr scharf und reicht auch zum Ausdrucken und Vergrößern. Das gilt für alle Produkte: Einzelausgaben, Komplettjahre, Poster und Starschnitte.
