We offer all BRAVO issues available for individual download. Just like during your active reading days, you can get the issues one by one. The only difference now is that you don't have to go to the newsstand or kiosk. Comfortably from home, you can dive into the old issues and relive the associated memories. Whether from your PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone, you can access them. Another advantage is that unlike the exorbitant prices that old magazines can fetch nowadays, you can get the digital issues from us at a reasonable price and in excellent quality. We have painstakingly scanned and digitally reassembled and enhanced the issues. It's perfect if you want to casually browse through an old BRAVO, search for a specific issue or article, or show your children what your youth looked like. Here, you have access to all issues from the year 1978. However, we also offer issues from other years.
For many decades, BRAVO played a pioneering role in sex education and youth development in Germany. As one of the first and most well-known youth magazines, it regularly focused on topics such as body awareness, healthy sexuality, relationships, and personal development. Especially from the 1960s to the 1990s, the magazine was a central medium that provided young people with orientation and education on intimate topics during a time of social upheaval.
With a mixture of serious, scientifically-founded content and an accessible, youth-friendly approach, BRAVO helped many generations of young people to explore questions of physical development and sexual identity. The magazine always valued independent, responsible reporting and treated sexuality not as a taboo, but as a natural part of growing up.
Please consider the historical context when reading the issues! Some formulations, views, texts, and reports may be outdated from today's perspective. However, we have decided not to comment on or alter the issues retrospectively, but to leave them in their original form, as we consider them important historical documents. As a companion for youth across generations, BRAVO offers an interesting insight into cultural development. Therefore, it is essential to pay attention to the historical and social context when reading.
A single issue refers to a single issue of the BRAVO magazine from a specific year. Unlike the complete years, which include all issues from a specific year, single issues allow you to specifically select a particular issue that interests you – be it because of a special topic, interviews with your favorite stars, or special events. Each single issue is available as a digital PDF file and offers you the opportunity to delve into history and awaken nostalgic memories of your youth.
Each PDF is high-quality digitized and corresponds to the original format, so you can experience BRAVO exactly as it appeared back then.

Each download link can be used up to three times before it is automatically blocked for security reasons. If you need further downloads, you can simply send us an email to info@bravo-archiv-shop.com and we will activate new links for you.
Zeitreise
Das Jahr 1978
1978 was the year in which the disco wave reached its peak with "Stayin' Alive" by the Bee Gees and "Last Dance" by Donna Summer. At the same time, punk, with bands like Blondie and The Clash, disrupted the music scene and brought a breath of fresh air to the rock world. David Bowie set new standards for electronic music with "Low," and the synth-pop sound began to dominate the musical landscape. 1978 was also the year in which "Grease," starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, hit the big screen and became one of the greatest musicals of all time. A year marked by the diversity of music, the heyday of cinema, and the revolutionary fashion trends that significantly influenced pop culture in the late 1970s!
