BRAVO MUSICBOXEN Volume 3 - All music boxes and charts from 1975 to 1979
Politically, the seventies are often seen as the decade of extremes and crises. This also applies – with reservations – to music. Compared to the rather uniform events of later years, the seventies were – to put it bluntly – a real blast. Seldom before and even less since has musical diversity been so great, the genres and their protagonists so different. Here the garish glam rockers with their platform shoes and flared trousers, there the punks with their spiky hairstyles and the dirty-kid image of the no-future look. Musically varied and eventful – that was the basic thesis about the seventies. A look at hits from the second half of the seventies confirms this. The seventies as reflected in the BRAVO music boxes 1975–1979 show what was heard in offices, workshops and the bedrooms of teenagers between Kiel and Kitzbühel. And in the second half, the seventies really turn out to be varied and at times extreme.
In this third volume you can take another look at all the music boxes from 1975 to 1979 and enjoy reminiscing.

Between glitter, punk and pop – the sound of the wild second seventies
From glam rock to disco to punk – the second half of the '70s was a musical explosion of extremes. This book brings back the original BRAVO charts from 1975 to 1979 and shows what young people really listened to – loud, shrill, authentic, and absolutely unmistakable.
About the author
Christian Müller, born in 1954, discovered his passion for pop music at a young age. In a home where the radio played around the clock, he grew up listening to the latest hits. He soon developed his own musical taste and enthusiastically followed all the charts on his favorite stations. His interest in the artists behind the music also arose early on. Week after week, he had the latest issue of the youth magazine BRAVO brought to him, which he meticulously studied. No detail was too small for him – he absorbed every piece of information. In 1988, his childhood dreams returned: Müller began searching flea markets for old issues of BRAVO. As his collection grew, his desire to share his accumulated knowledge with others grew. In 2000, he launched his own website – a step that brought him into direct contact with the BRAVO publishing house. For his book projects, Christian Müller was able to engage the renowned music journalist Teddy Hoersch, who supported him as an expert partner until his untimely death in 2023. Today, Müller and his family manage complete archives of several important music magazines – a unique collection that gives him access to an impressive wealth of music history information. In addition to his work as an archivist, Christian Müller is equally passionate about studying art and design, as well as actively learning the guitar and piano.
